The new studio album from the legendary keyboardist: Rick Wakeman! The keyboard legend Rick Wakeman releases his new concept album A Gallery Of The Imagination on February 24, 2023 via Madfish. The conception of the album began at the age of five. Rick’s piano teacher, Mrs. Symes, taught him that musicians with instruments are like artists with paint; Rick has kept this idea throughout his life, creating sound paintings through his compositions. Wakeman presents a diversity of musical aesthetics throughout this record. Among the many prog influences and Moog solos, Wakeman offers us two solo piano pieces that reflect Rick’s classical roots and his love of the Romantic period.
