This is the long-awaited re-release of Rhythm Machine's masterpiece soul/funk (and only album), by one of the most renowned bands beyond the borders of their native Indiana. This 1976 album has been remastered from the original tapes, with the addition of 3 unreleased tracks (on an additional 12" in the LP version) and a 16-page booklet with never-before-seen photos and liner notes. Rhythm Machine includes the fabulous "Put A Smile On Time", a track featured on the SOUL CAL compilation, which generated such enthusiasm that this re-release of the complete (and expanded) album now seemed essential. They will also be featured on the upcoming Loving On The Flip Side box set. An honest and warm album of syncopated Soul Music, adorned with the glitter of disco decadence from that era.
