His reinterpretation of Boris Vian's "Le Déserteur" and the ode to his daughter would be acclaimed by both the public and critics. Presented in the form of a luxurious art book, it contains 11 CDs, a DVD and a 48-page booklet. In total, over 138 tracks including 11 alternative versions. The DVD, composed of INA archives, contains the best of Renaud's TV appearances. The richly illustrated booklet, with many rare and unpublished photos, sheds light on Renaud's career. Didier Varrod's text explains the conception of each album and its main songs, and discusses the singer's influences and artistic collaborations.
