Last copies of the latest repress. Black vinyl with insert. "Entry" is the last remaining track from the late 1979 recordings at Pathway Studios that produced the 4AD 12" "Wheel In The Roses" the following year. At 6 minutes long, too long to be placed alongside the studio side of that album, the track has been transferred from the original tapes, modestly cleaned up, and is presented here with an instrumental version. Well put together, with typical Rema-Rema elements, namely pounding drums (no cymbals) à la Moe Tucker, relentless bass lines and Marco Pirroni's feedback-laden guitar, this track offers a glimpse into Rema-Rema's future path, with its complex dual vocals, delicate synth motif and previously stifled melodic potential. 12" vinyl with lyrics/photo insert.
