Sorcerer returns with an album that is sure to please Heavy Metal fans. Since their resurgence in 2010, thanks to a series of astonishing live performances, the band signed with Metal Blade Records and has released three excellent metal albums. With "The Shadow Of The Inverted Cross" (2015) and its classic epic doom metal approach, the band solidified their triumphant return to the scene. The follow-up, "The Crowning Of The Fire King" (2017), gave fans an extra dose of Epic that they crave. With their most elaborate album to date, "Lamenting Of The Innocent" 2020, Sorcerer pulled out all the stops and has no intention of slowing down. For "Reign Of The Reaper", the band retreated to their home studio and wrote music throughout 2022, then once again headed to SolnaSound Recording in Stockholm, the studio run by Simon Johansson (Wolf, Soilwork) with the help of Mike Wead (King Diamond) to record the drums. The band members have concocted an album consisting of eight new tracks that are sure to appease the appetite of metalheads from all corners of Heavy Metal.
