The Mercury LP builds on the first EP of the Washington, D.C. punk band, adding various odds and ends recorded between 1996 and 1997. The unconventional tunings of former Hoover guitarist Alex Dunham defined the unique sound imprint of the power trio, with a soaring and reverb-soaked sound that is at times menacing, mercurial, and haunting.
