This band has been around for 34 years, and they hadn't released anything in 15, yet Redd Kross are well and truly back with an album that's still made of good old rock'n'roll that fully embraces its identity while also managing to mark its era. A truly great power-pop album with punk tendencies, featuring timeless rock instrumentation, completely uninhibited and enjoyable. One can imagine the band playing just as well in a smoky club as on a large stadium stage. It's not surprising that in their latest video (shot on a cheap green screen), they feature harmonies worthy of the Beatles, are made up like KISS, and dressed like Michael Jackson.
