Born in France and dividing his time between Paris and Barcelona, Raynald Colom is a seasoned musician inspired by many genres and art forms, but with deep roots in flamenco. The album title comes from an interview with Duke Ellington in which he is asked: “what goes through your mind when you play?” and Ellington replies: “a million dreams.” Colom says: “I love that concept. Essentially, that’s what we’re trying to do. We don’t think about the notes, we think about the dreams.”
