Description
Raoul Vignal is often identified by his guitar playing (subtle arpeggios and finger-picking) and his singing, which is imbued with a luminous melancholy. Sometimes, his writing talents are overlooked. Like Impressionist painters, he captures and draws inspiration from the atmosphere of his daily life. Nomadic, his compositions are stories, postcards in their own right. The context for the creation of his new album Shadow Bands is his return to Lyon, his hometown, about ten years after leaving it.
