While fans of the sound and very alternative spirit of Rage Against The Machine still wonder why the band decided to split after four explosive and committed albums (including one posthumous covers album), this live recording from Los Angeles in September 2000, during the band's last two performances, appears. This is evident from listening to the sixteen tracks that amount to a live best of; no one has ever managed to blend rock and rap as well as this Los Angeles formation, whose singer, Zack de la Rocha, made it a point to write only texts heavy with consequences.
Three years later, Testify, Bombtrack, or Know Your Enemy still sound like incendiary firebrands that the direct and slightly sanitized followers Limp Bizkit or Linkin Park have a hard time matching.
