This box set brings together the award-winning recordings of Rachel Podger, made from 2003 to 2018 and dedicated to Vivaldi's violin concertos: La cetra, La stravaganza, Le quattro stagioni, and L’estro armonico.
La stravaganza (with Arte dei Suonatori) was named "Baroque Album of the Year 2003" by Gramophone. "Rachel Podger's interpretations overflow with vitality and are delivered with incomparable brilliance – a breathtaking version." La cetra (with Holland Baroque) received a Diapason d’or: "Superb orchestral sound, ample, broad, and deep." The Times, regarding L’estro armonico from 2015 (with Brecon Baroque): "As her fingers traverse the collection of twelve concertos, feet tap and the pulse quickens, without the music being pushed to extremes.
