City is made up of Theron and Timothy Thomas - two brothers who have written and composed multi-award-winning songs like the hits "Pour It Up" by Rihanna, "The Night Is Still Young" by Nicki Minaj, and "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus. R. City has also been awarded Grammy Awards for their contributions to albums such as "Unapologetic" by Rihanna (Best Urban Contemporary Album), the self-titled album by Jennifer Hudson (Best R&B Album), and "My Everything" by Ariana Grande (Best Pop Vocal Album). True hitmakers for years, the duo is now determined to step into the spotlight by producing their own hits! On this first album, the two brothers worked with Dr. Luke while staying true to their roots and influences. "This is who we are," says Theron. "We call it Caribbean hip-hop. There’s both rap and island music. This is the first time people will hear us, so we’re coming with a huge sound."
