The album traces a complete arc that, until the last hazy vibrato of the final track, returns to the ambient opening seconds of the album. Released on Memory Music, All Again is primarily an enveloping and rich indie-rock record, shifting between the pop sweetness of the 60s, the gritty alt-rock of the 90s, spacious and painful emo, and the songwriting art and melodicism of the most cutting-edge acoustic singer-songwriters.
