Poétiques de l'instant

Description

The Quatuor Voce presents Poétiques de l’instant, a long-term project and discographic diptych that aims to resonate two essential works for any string quartet – the masterpieces of Debussy and Ravel – alongside other musical pieces and new creations. This first volume focuses on Debussy's Quartet, and the ensemble has enlisted a young composer, Yves Balmer, for the surrounding works: he arranged the Proses lyriques and also composed a new piece, Fragments soulevés par le vent. To record this program, the quartet gathered three exceptional artists: soprano Jodie Devos, flutist Juliette Hurel, and harpist Emmanuel Ceysson.
