Control

Description

THE 2ND ALBUM BY THE SWISS-GERMAN ELECTRO-POP GENIUS A POWERFUL, DARK & HYPNOTIC SONIC LABYRINTH It is after two years of work that Control sees the light of day, this second album by Pyrit, the solo project of Swiss-German multi-instrumentalist Thomas Kura tli, who now lives in Paris. In the continuation of his first album UFO (2015), which told the story of a man’s transformation into a machine, we now find ourselves trapped inside this machine, whose endless labyrinths are constantly changing shape. One may encounter the wounded ghosts of David Lynch, Portishead or Haxan Cloak there, but the result has something deeply personal and innovative about it. Electronic, glitch, kraut, dark ambient, dark ballads and dismembered techno collide to form an ambitious, unique and intense sonic magma.
