PUREST FORM draws its visceral dance-punk music from the anxiety and turmoil of our times. This recently formed trio from Los Angeles (composed of singer Story Beeson, guitarist and programmer Madi Woodward, and bassist Riley Oikawa-Dahlson) is inspired by their respective experiences in hardcore bands and their shared love for industrial music and techno, blending intensely heavy sounds with playful and sensual touches. RESISTANCE, their debut album on Dais Records, is a powerful six-track anarchist attack against the system, fueled by collective anger at the end-stage capitalism and a year of relentless trauma in Los Angeles, from wildfires to ICE.
