End of World/Black Vinyl

Description

Public Image Ltd. (PiL) have released their 11th studio album and their first album in 8 years. End of World was released on August 11, 2023 on PiL Official via Cargo UK / Kuroneko. The band began writing and recording End of World in 2018, during their 40th anniversary tour. After The Great Pause, the band regrouped in the studio and “there was a massive explosion of ideas,” Lydon explains. The result is that PiL have released 13 of the best tracks they have ever written. The announcement comes at the same time as the release of the new single Penge, which John describes as “a kind of Viking medieval epic.”
