Chaosmosis or the return of the visionaries of PRIMAL SCREAM! After cutting his teeth as drummer for The Jesus & Mary Chain, Bobby Gillepsie founded the rock project PRIMAL SCREAM more than 30 years ago. At the crossroads of indie pop, garage and dance, the sounds explored by PRIMAL SCREAM make them one of the most visionary bands of their generation. Alongside their peers New Order, they were among the first instigators of acid house in England at the dawn of the 80s! After three decades and ten albums, each more groundbreaking than the last, the Scots return with the surprising Chaosmosis, proof that the band has lost none of its energy or inventiveness. Described as their most intuitive and free album, the ten tracks on Chaosmosis move between euphoria and anger, the personal and the political, with a maturity-laced ease. Recorded between London, New York and Stockholm, the album was entirely written and produced by Gillepsie and Andrew Innes. Numerous collaborations punctuate this 11th album: Björn Yttling (Peter Bjorn and John), Rachel Zeffira (Cat's Eyes) and even Sky Ferreira, who appears on the addictive single 'Where The Light Gets In'. PRIMAL SCREAM is certainly not short of surprises.
