Gondwana Records and Portico Quartet announce a limited edition collector’s item with an extended version of their composition Terrain, rearranged and recorded at Abbey Road. Terrain (Extended) offers an extended version of the composition rearranged by Portico Quartet - a subtle reconfiguration of the group that includes a string quartet - and which made it possible to fully explore the deeper textures and resonances of the composition, as well as the way to broaden the dialogue between tranquility and a subtly unsettling melancholy. November 9, 2021 was a very special session. The band brought in Greg Freeman from Berlin, a longtime collaborator, sound engineer and mixer, to work with Chris Bolster from Abbey Road.
