Harebrains

Description

Ponyland is a psychedelic punk band, a force of nature, a multi-member monster with distorted riffs and thunderous grooves, combining the assaults of Lightning Bolt, the ecstatic spectacle of Sun Ra, and the irreverent spirit of System of a Down. Following their debut album Mora Mora and while maintaining their signature style, their pulverizing double drums and fuzz-laden psychedelic soundscapes, the band members have strengthened their songwriting with riff-based hooks and punk vigor. The prominent female vocals evoke Bikini Kill and Warpaint, while the gritty, melted electronics flow around a classic thrash guitar sound.
