Plastic Estate are a contemporary synth-pop band from Wales, UK. With a focus on atmosphere and refinement, the duo conjure a rich palette of romance and lustre with their sophisticated brand of pop music. They have garnered support from Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran, KEXP, and BBC Radio, and have played sold out shows with LA Priest, Home Counties and Real Lies. Having released a 7" and an LP with Avant! Records, they now release their second album with new critical acclaim tracks being added to BBC Radio Wales’ ‘Welsh A-List’. Their second album ushers in a new era for the outfit; moving away from darker sonic roots, their sound has progressed to a brighter and more refined aesthetic with new influences from the lush ‘Hi-Fi’ West Coast Sound and the shimmer of 2010’s Chillwave.
