Margaret Chardiet grew up in New York and for the past 5 years has been creating powerful electronic music with death-industrial influences under the name Pharmakon. A founding member of the Red Light District collective, she has participated in many movements within the experimental underground scene since she was 17. So here is ABANDON, her very first arch-noise album, recorded and produced by Sean Ragon of Cult of Youth. A rare woman in the world of noise music, it is her precision, perfectionism, and conciseness that strike the ear. No improvisation, each track is meticulously crafted.
