Native of the island of Zakynthos in Greece, the young double bassist and composer Petros Klampanis has naturally been influenced since his earliest childhood by the traditional music of the Balkans and the Mediterranean; his new album is nourished by these influences, to which is added, since he lives and plays there, that of New York jazz.
