Petit Biscuit, a leading producer of French electro, presents his second album "Parachute". The young Rouennais firmly places himself at the center of his project by singing on most of the songs on the album, embodying this generation of musicians who are not afraid to bare themselves. PETIT BISCUIT has established himself in just a few years as the spearhead of French electro. The global success of his previous tracks has already taken him to the four corners of the world: from Vieilles Charrues to Coachella, and through Sziget, he has already traveled across Europe, Asia, America, and Australia. He is scheduled for festivals and continues to perform his own concerts in parallel. With over a billion streams on Spotify alone, and almost as many on other platforms, he is backed by a multitude of certifications (several diamond records abroad for LPs, EPs, singles; in France, double platinum for the first album, quadruple diamond for the single Sunset Lover…) as PETIT BISCUIT now embarks on a new cycle of his career.
The Rouen producer, whose real name is Mehdi Benjelloun, develops a unique and visually strong universe through his songs and music videos. Sometimes flirting with trap music, sometimes with indie rock, PETIT BISCUIT has never made two tracks that sound alike. However, it is easy to recognize his style in each of his tracks, like a common thread that reflects his personality. Composed first in Iceland during a trip in isolation, then in his home studio, the album "PARACHUTE" definitively places PETIT BISCUIT as the main character of his project: we hear Mehdi singing on the singles "I Leave Again", "Drivin Thru The Night", "Burnin", and on other songs from the opus. We can also highlight the participation of superstar DJ Diplo, collaborating on "Pick Your Battles", proof that the young producer's reputation is well established on the electro scene.
