Secret World Live contains 16 tracks from the Secret World Tour that took place in 1993. Recorded over two nights in northern Italy, in Modena. The setlist covers Peter's entire solo career up to that point. From his beginnings with Solsburry Hill, to Digging In The Dirt, Steam, and Blood Of Eden from the US album, which was at the time his most recent album. The show is accompanied by a wonderful list of guests such as Daniel Lanois, Congolese superstar Papa Wemba, Memphis Horns, and guitarist Leo Nocentelli from the band The Meters. With this performance, Peter Gabriel consolidates his reputation as Mr. Loyal, still dynamic and eager to give his best. The track San Jacinto is available on the album for the first time. Originally, the track was only available on the Live DVD before being removed from the CD but is now available on vinyl and digitally. The album has been remastered on two 33 RPM lacquers on two heavyweight vinyls to deliver listeners a more dynamic listening experience. The sound has been worked on by Matt Colton (Alchemy Mastering), and mastered by Tony Cousins at Metropolis. All supervised by Richard Chappell, Peter Gabriel's long-time sound engineer. Additionally, the product features a wide sleeve printed in colors on the inside. The album comes with a download card (Hi-res 24 bits or 16 bits).
