Description

Rated PG is a collection of tracks from film soundtracks composed by Peter Gabriel.
Having always loved the combination of the arts of cinema and music (he left his place in a film school at 17 to pursue a music career), Peter Gabriel had the opportunity to marry these two interests for the first time when he was asked to compose the music for Alan Parker's film Birdy in 1985. Subsequently, several other soundtrack compositions for films like Martin Scorsese's The Last Temptation of Christ or The Way of Freedom have nurtured his love for cinema, and Peter Gabriel continued to collaborate on multiple films. Rated PG is the opportunity to gather on a disc a selection of songs by Peter Gabriel, written for or used in film productions. Released in an ultra-limited edition for Record Store Day 2019, the album will be available on June 12 on CD and vinyl.
