More than 20 years after the release of Up in 2002, Peter Gabriel returns with a new album: i/o. This album reflects the beauty and skill of the artist in writing songs that stop you in your tracks, with that thrilling and delightfully intact voice. The passage of time, mortality and grief, injustice, surveillance, and the roots of terrorism are among the themes addressed in this new album. But it is not a solemn record. i/o is musically adventurous, often joyful, and ultimately full of hope. The 12 tracks on the album are available in two different versions: the Bright-Side Mix by Mark 'Spike' Stent, and the Dark-Side Mix by Tchad Blake, two internationally renowned mixers.
