There is an adorable ambivalence at the heart of Drama King, the fourth studio album by Australian troubadour Peter Bibby for Spinning Top Records. The project was produced by Dan Luscombe (The Drones, Amyl and the Sniffers), who collaborates with Peter Bibby for the first time, and mixed by Josh Block (White Denim), a frequent collaborator of Leon Bridges. Celebrated as being intrinsically from the working class and completely independent, Peter Bibby shows great caution, having cut his teeth on the rough and chaotic underground rock scene of Perth, Western Australia. Peter Bibby has toured with Pond and participated in international festivals such as Laneway, Falls, All Points East, South by Southwest, and Rocking the Daisies in South Africa.
