Presentation of the new edition of Pelvis Wrestley's second album, "ANDY, or: The Four Horsegirls of the Apocalypse," now available on glossy pink vinyl. Andy, or the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, is a fantastical meditation on impermanence through the lens of lost people and those we miss. Written during a time when pandemic guidelines were unclear, the songs draw inspiration from the diasporas of 2020, when so many people moved without even suggesting a farewell party. The record is named after a previous project by Benjamin Violet, ANDY, which saw its members relocate during the lockdown. As Pelvis Wrestley, Violet repurposes the mythology of the titular demigod for a new era. The repress includes a bonus track, "Inside, Over," previously released by ANDY to commemorate the project. This record is best described as the meeting of Dolly Parton with David Bowie, with a hearty seasoning of synth-pop.
