Blues Cross Country + If You Go Complete Legendary Sessions 1961

Description

The two classic albums by Peggy Lee from 1961 with the Quincy Jones orchestra. Jones' arrangements feature prominently in both LPs: 'Blues Cross Country' (Capitol ST1671) and 'If You Go' (Capitol ST1630). The singer and the arranger had never recorded together before, and after these wonderful LPs, they would only collaborate on a short session in 1966. As a bonus, the label has added three tracks that complete the aforementioned album sessions (but were not included on the original LPs) as well as Peggy Lee's classic interpretation of Fever. Includes an 8-page booklet.
