Deluxe edition of Tug of War, like the previous editions in this series, Paul personally took charge of overseeing the project in all its aspects and in particular reworked the album mix from the original tapes for a spectacular result. Released in 1982, Tug of War brought together for the first time in 10 years Paul McCartney and the legendary Beatles producer George Martin, as well as a star cast with Stevie Wonder, Ringo, Carl Perkins, Stanley Clarke... Preceded by the hit “Ebony And Ivory” as a duet with Stevie Wonder, the album would reach number one in many countries.- In addition to this new version of the album, the second CD offers 11 rare bonus tracks or 7 unreleased tracks..- The deluxe version also includes the album in its original version and a DVD with the original videos and an unreleased 18-minute Behind the Scene documentary of the Take It Away video. It will be presented in superb packaging accompanied by a hardback book with 112 pages of essays and 64 pages of scrapbook.- The Super Deluxe version includes the content of the deluxe edition in an acrylic box limited to 1000 copies worldwide, with 5 numbered photo prints by Linda McCartney included as well.- The vinyl version offers a double 180g LP remastered at Abbey Road Studio, containing rare and unreleased recordings and a custom engraving.
