PARABELLUM has voted for a clubbing program! The Machine Gun Rock'n'roll spreads subversion with its ninth album titled citizen: A voté. The band retreated to Rennes in Brittany with San Severino, Reuno Lofo, Didier Super, and other fellow authors to prepare this new opus which will be released on Monday, April 23, 2012! The day after the first round of the presidential election, to slip some sandpaper into the soft consensus and political correctness. The winners in history will remain the same. The dupes of the joke too. The Parisian gang scrambles the airwaves and establishes itself as an expression of the silent majority, a transmission belt for brighter tomorrows legitimizing revolt. A voté travels in first class on the explosive Little Richard-Motörhead line, in the same cabin as Jim Jones Revue. A catapult record that sticks the VU meters in the red. An album that overflows with life, good humor, humor, and derision. It would be almost joyful if it weren't for the themes addressed between social issues, economy, and its commitments; it is not there to wallow in self-pity, but to encourage taking responsibility, awakening consciousness, and getting one's butt in gear!
