January 2015. Paris is struck by terrorist attacks. In the aftermath, Oxmo is convinced that the public will need light and a positive spirit to face the surrounding darkness. So he locks himself in Studio Ferber and, in a few months, produces this new album, a true sound odyssey, filled with emotions. *La Voix Lactée* embraces its positive and warm side, with songs about friendship ("Les potos") or nostalgia ("France 98"). Oxmo also tackles more personal themes, as in the poignant "Un week-end sur deux." This ambition for intimacy also yields the album's most beautiful compositions, "Star et célébrité" and "Ton rêve." The album's release date would give it a bitter taste and a special place in the artist's discography.
