Canadian virtuoso Owen Pallett will release his new album ‘Island’ on March 5 via Domino. Owen Pallett is a brilliant singer-songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist known for his collaborations with Arcade Fire, The Last Shadow Puppets, Christine & The Queens, and Frank Ocean, as well as for his composition work, notably for the original soundtrack of Spike Jonze’s film ‘Her’, which earned him an Oscar nomination. Almost entirely acoustic and recorded live at Abbey Road Studios with the London Contemporary Orchestra, his new album Island is a shimmering and lush orchestral record.
