The duo O$VMV$M returns with an enigmatic six-track release, blending raw sound collage, dystopian atmosphere, and SF surrealism. Inspired by the story of a robot hunted by the army — who discovers that its pursuers might also be machines — the album explores themes of identity, paranoia, and the failure of predictions, echoing the quote from Psycho Mantis: “I wasn't able to read the future.” Built from lo-fi phone calls, creaking doors, and field recordings captured between Severn Beach and Sand Bay, this work slips into a murky zone, between electronic fog and fragmented storytelling. With a cover designed by S. Barrett & A. Childs and mastering by Benjamin Tregaskes (@lurkauk), this new chapter marks a radical deconstruction of the musical format. O$VMV$M continues to blur the lines. And it is anything but predictable.
