L'Orchestre de la Lune, an orchestra of leaders, all in the service of a popular yet erudite music, and above all joyful and colorful... Led by the American composer, arranger, saxophonist, and flutist Jon Handelsman, L'Orchestre de la Lune is a "little big band" of eleven talented musicians. Eight brass supported by a lively rhythm section offer us joyful music as popular as it is erudite, drawing from the source of traditional danceable and colorful music (Jamaican, Latin, African...) An invitation to dance. Dancing Bob, the new album, includes 9 tracks, 5 of which are sung, a first for someone who until now had only written and recorded purely instrumental music with the orchestra. On this occasion, we discover a Jon Handelsman who is also a fine lyricist (and poet).
