Orange saw the light of day in 1966 within the very dynamic artistic and musical scene of Antwerp. After several lineup changes, the group established itself as one of the most captivating underground rock bands in Belgium. In 1969, the band had consolidated its identity and made its debut on national television, offering a blend of psychedelic and melodic rock. Later that year, with the arrival of Hugo Van Camp alongside Marc Van Geystelen (lead guitar), Norbert De Lange (guitar/vocals), and Swa De Houwer (bass), the group recorded its first single "The Sun" with B-side "Wait Until Sunrise" at Decca Studios in Brussels – a dark and melancholic masterpiece that has since achieved cult status.
