Description

The new album Uchuu (Espace) is the most abstract work of Oowets's career to date: a collection of songs imbued with gentleness, expressing inner sensations and a deep connection with the universe. Through these nine tracks, you will feel as if you are walking in a forest or floating among the clouds. Minimalist rhythms, created from sounds of tapping on fabric boxes, wood, and stones, are layered over piano, synthesizer, and the warm, nostalgic tones of a reed organ. During the production of this album, a unique way of creating melodies was discovered: merging environmental sounds with synthesizer textures. The result is a mysterious sound, as if science and nature were one. From tracks like "In Bed," which uses the raw sounds of a morning recorded at the bedside, this soothing album explores the intimate link between our daily lives and the vastness of the universe.
