Again

Description

Again follows in the wake of the many critically acclaimed OPN albums, the most recent of which, Magic Oneohtrix Point Never, saw him turn the dial toward his own inner frequencies, drawing on OPN’s origins as a way to discover a new sense of lightness and spirit in these tumultuous times. Since that release, Lopatin has been in demand across all areas of music culture: he was musical director for The Weeknd’s 2021 Super Bowl halftime performance, composed and performed the music for Chanel’s 2021 Métiers d’art show, and was executive producer of Dawn FM, The Weeknd’s worldwide number-one album (he also performed on the majority of the album’s songs). He has worked with James Blake, Ishmael Butler, Charli XCX, Kelsey Lu, Iggy Pop and Rosalia, and his productions also include Anohni, FKA Twigs, David Byrne, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Moses Sumney and Nine Inch Nails, among others.
