The Old Gods of Asgard, also known as Poets of the Fall, are once again part of the video game world!
Four songs by the Old Gods of Asgard have already been listened to millions of times on Spotify.
The upcoming album, "Rebirth - Greatest Hits", includes four previously released digital tracks and four new songs, three of which are featured in Remedy's game "Alan Wake 2".

Remedy Entertainment is one of the most successful video game companies in Finland, and the upcoming game "Alan Wake 2" is one of the largest Finnish productions of all time. It combines gameplay and live action and features many familiar actors from Finland and abroad.
The game continues the story of writer Alan Wake, which began in the first game "Alan Wake" in 2010.
Marko, Olli, and Captain of the band Poets of the Fall appear for the first time in "Alan Wake 2" as characters of the band Old Gods of Asgard.

The band Old Gods of Asgard is thus a joint creation of Sami Järvi from Remedy and Poets of the Fall, which was first heard in the game "Alan Wake" in 2010.
The band has its own story and mythology in the universe of Remedy games.
The lyrics of the songs are closely tied to the game's plot and provide clues to players. The band was last heard in Remedy's game "Control" in 2019, with the unique song "Take Control" being the first interactive rock song that changes based on the game's situation during a long combat scene.
The collaboration with Remedy began in 2003 with the game "Max Payne 2", which featured the band's first song, the hit "Late Goodbye".
It won the "Grammy of the game world", the G.A.N.G. Award for Best Song in a Video Game. It was a great start for the band's career and its collaboration with Remedy.
