Austin natives, an indie stronghold surrounded by Texans, will release their seventh album "The Silver Gymnasium" on September 30. It's therefore three years after their excellent "I Am Very Far" that OKKERVIL returns with new compositions, still graced by WILLSHEFF's magnificent voice. In the interim, they had participated in the recording of ROKY ERICKSON's (13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS) album as a backing band.
