Produced by Sheff and mixed by Shawn Everett (Julian Casablancas, Alabama Shakes), In The Rainbow Rain follows the acclaimed Away, released in 2016. This new album, however, takes a different path – while Away was dreamy and solitary, In The Rainbow Rain is its next chapter, joyful and vulnerable. In The Rainbow Rain features ten songs written by Sheff with contributions from his new collaborators, Benjamin Lazar Davis (bass), Will Graefe (guitar), Sarah Pedinotti (keyboards), and Cully Symington (drums) – the same lineup that accompanied Sheff on the Away tour.
