"Three lesbian sardines!" — shouted by a disruptor during a performance by the Dadaist Hugo Ball on stage at the Cabaret Voltaire — is a perfect title for Nurse With Wound's latest appearance at the "Great Monster Dada Show," at the legendary Henie Onstad Kunstsenter in Oslo, in 2019. It was the largest exhibition of Dada art and artifacts of this century, featuring over 250 works by 43 artists, including Kurt Schwitters, Jean and Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Hannah Höch, John Heartfield, Tristan Tzara, Max Ernst, Francis Picabia, Raoul Hausmann, Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray… This electrifying performance showcases the band at its most eclectic and playful. It includes six pieces performed by the classic lineup of Steven Stapleton, Andrew Liles, and Colin Potter, including 'Flea Circus,' a crowd favorite with its catchy rhythms — a mutant hybrid between Kraftwerk and Aphex Twin, regarded as one of the best tracks ever recorded by the group. 'Broken America' serves as a timely reminder of the critical situation we all face with the advent of Trump’s America. The cover features a striking new work by renowned artist Babs Santini.
