His real name is Jun Seba, Nujabes is one of the most recognized Japanese artists internationally and has a devoted fan community. He was the producer of two labels, T Records and Guiness Records, as well as a production company called Hyde-Out Productions, an independent label that allowed him to release his two cult albums: Metaphorical Music (2003) and Modal Soul (2005). Nujabes' music is influenced by cool jazz and combines jazz with abstract hip hop. Nujabes tragically passed away in 2010 as a result of a car accident in Tokyo. Metaphorical Music is Nujabes' first solo album, released in 2003. It blends hip hop and instrumental jazz, which will establish Nujabes' undeniable legend.
