Nine-time GRAMMY winner, singer, songwriter, and pianist Norah Jones unveils her ninth solo studio album ‘Visions’, a collaboration with producer and multi-instrumentalist Leon Michels.
‘Visions’ is a collection of 12 vibrant and joyful songs on which Norah Jones sings about the feeling of freedom, the desire to dance, the will to do things right, and the acceptance of what life brings her.
“The reason I called the album ‘Visions’ is because a lot of the ideas came in the middle of the night or right before sleep,” Norah Jones explains. “We made most of the songs in the same way: I was at the piano or guitar, Leon was playing drums, and we just jammed out. I like the rawness between Leon and me, the way it sounds a little bit garage-y but also a little bit soulful, because that’s where he comes from, but also not too perfected.”
