Description

The duo NOORG, now essential on the noise-drone electroacoustic scene, continues its work in light of a third album expected for the start of the 2026 school year. The third album of a group often reveals another side, a maturity, a different direction. After Plexus, released in 2018 and l'Autour in 2021, the III of NOORG (Eric Brochard and Lo Guénin) evolves towards a more instrumental approach. The duo is now surrounded by an expanded setup - Fender Rhodes, keyboards, guitar - which opens a wider range of timbres and a more organic sound presence. While improvisation remains the beating heart of their music, the forms have gradually become denser: the pieces are becoming more composed, outlining more precise trajectories while leaving room for the unexpected and mutual listening. In this continuity, the duo Noorg is now imagining the recording of a sound journey. A work deployed like several stories: a piece spread across different landscapes, whose listening would take place according to a unique path, like a sound space to traverse. Each part will then become a chapter of the same narrative, an extension of the musical material.
