Nondi_ returns to Planet Mu with Nondi…, a second album that extends the dreamlike language explored on Flood City Trax. Rooted in lo-fi textures but animated by a growing sense of freedom, the record remains instinctive, strange, and moving, far from club conventions. Even distanced from nightlife, Nondi_ captures the remnants of a night out: blurred melodies, persistent rhythms, and half-remembered euphoria. Its tracks move with intuitive logic, balancing lightness and melancholy, without ever forcing the narrative. Influences such as footwork, dub techno, Actress, and Aphex Twin appear subtly, refracted through her personal style. Loops intertwine, dissolve, and recombine, while elements of drum & bass, 2-step, and rave transform into a sound that is both fragile, tender, and supernatural, creating a luminous and intimate album.
