Flood City Trax/Sepia Coloured Vinyl

Description

Nondi_ is the alias of Tatiana Triplin, an American producer based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who also runs the net label HRR, releasing music by her friends and her own under various aliases. Her brother is the young MC Eem Triplin. Nondi_'s music draws inspiration from footwork, breakcore, and Detroit techno. However, since she has only experienced it through the Internet, she has filled in the gaps with her imagination and, as a result, the music is rendered from a dreamlike solitude that comes close to other Internet genres such as vaporwave. Her tracks are hazy and abstract, dotted with gentle melodies, rusty tones, and occasional rays of sunshine, sometimes driven by a distant pulse, sometimes collapsing as if the music itself were disintegrating.
