Thirty unreleased tracks from three generations of musicians marking the thirty years of ACT, with Nils Landgren as the driving force!
As a singer, trombonist, composer, conductor, and talent scout, Nils Landgren is one of the pillars of the ACT family. 40 albums by Nils Landgren as a leader have been released on ACT to date - and 20 others as a producer and soloist. With the album "Nils Landgren & Three Generations", all of Nils Landgren's roles come to fruition. Together with ACT's producer and founder Siggi Loch, Nils Landgren has gathered three generations of ACT artists in different formations to celebrate the label's 30th anniversary. The resulting recordings, along with selected pieces from Landgren's earlier works, showcase the bandwidth and integrative power of the idea of "jazz".
