A major newcomer at Bigwax Distribution. Founded by German Robert Raths in 2007, the London-based label Erased Tapes has built a solid reputation thanks to its avant-garde aesthetic. Beyond the music, Erased Tapes' approach also stands out for the visual aspect of its releases. It is recognized for its distinctive and assertive editorial line, as well as for its attention to design and packaging.Nils Frahm, the flagship artist of the Erased Tapes stable, announces the release of Encores 3 for September 20, 2019, the third and final part of his Encores series. The three EPs will be available in a complete version, titled All Encores, on CD. While Encores 1 focused on a palette of acoustic sounds with solo piano and a harmonium at its core, and Encores 2 explored more ambient landscapes, Encores 3 now sees Nils developing the percussive and electronic elements of his work. The idea behind All Encores is to separate the releases, each with its own musical style and theme. All Encores testifies to Nils' exceptional ability to create his art on stage. "Artificially Intelligent," featuring his "mad professor" organ, and "All Armed," have appeared on his setlists since 2015, and are now available for the first time in physical format.
